Future bass-
The 100-160 bpm genre that took the world by storm. Future bass has recently gotten extremely popular and into the mainstream because of producers such as Flume or even The Chainsmokers. Although the genre is common to trap, future bass focus on melody heavily while trap doesn't. Although the name might sound deceiving, future bass doesn't rely heavily on bass, Future bass percussion is usually not complex, it is composed of "trap drums"
However more complex beats are usually self made foley sound effects. Wobbling LFOs and Supersaws are extremely common in future bass, you can hear the supersaws directly after the build up during the drop. Another extremely popular aspect in future bass are vocal chops. Most future bass producers tend to have a large amount of creative vocal to chops to make their track sound more complete.
