Serum

A xfer records wavetable synthesizer plugin created by Steve Dude with the help of Joel Thomas Zimmerman. Serum has become a critical tool in music production for several reasons.

Starting with the dual wavetable oscillators which grant the user the ability to create a variety of sounds. Also in the oscillator section, a sub oscillator and a noise oscillator.

The next feature is the filter module which has many options to help the user. The effects rack is also very useful with various effects such as flanger, reverb, & distortion.

The modulation panel on serum is exceptionally detailed, with four macro controls three envelopes, and four LFO modules. Needless to say making your own unique sound can be very challenging, but with plugins such as serum, it's become much easier and more fun.
